I’ve actually had the best 2 days - drove over to James’ had dinner with his AMAZING parents! Then watched toy story 2 and had an early night. Spend Monday morning driving up to Amy’s arrived and watched the da Vinci code. Then took Wilson out for a walk — sunbathing at the pavilion. After walkies we had lovely chilli with her lovely family and a few glasses of wine with our ‘sophisticated’ conversation of would you rather — woke up to yummy yummy walnut chocolate banana bread and drove all the way back dropping James on the way - 257 miles and a lot of sun and smiles later and I’m home!! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful flat mates and friends :) praise The Lord!!

I had a freak out at church on Sunday cause I suddenly felt guilt for things I’ve done in the past and it was just terrifying - I felt separated from God and was feeling the way I did before I gave my life to God and was filled with the Holy Spirit. I cried a lot - I felt like I used to when I would lose my mum in Sainsburys but 100 times worse! I rang my mum and she reminded me of Ephesians 6:10-13 ‘Finally, be strong in The Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against the flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armour of God, so thy when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.’ This is so true and I am praying that everyday I will put on the armour of God to battle against temptation, pride and all sins. I know I shall not feel guilty because Jesus came and kicked sins butt so I can be forgiven and be one with God again! 1 John 1:9 ‘if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive a our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness’ - Thank You Lord!

Okay so I couldn’t get to sleep last night - I did some work and went to bed around 01:30 … An hour later I still couldn’t sleep and I started to pray. In my mind all I could think about was Luke which I have been reading lately and how it teaches us to sell our stuff - , “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Luke 18:22 — so basically an idea came to my head. I have recently moved to Norwich which I believe is totally an act of God… There is a surprisingly high poverty rate in Norwich near where I live. The general gist of the plan is… 1. Sell stuff I don’t need. 2. Get friends involved. 3. Use all the money I can get to go into town and buy meal deals. 4. Give people meal deals with a book of the bible in. (If they want to or cannot read I sit with them and read to/with them) — so yeah I want to call it Lunch with God.. I’m going to pray on it but if anyone sees this.. What do you think? Do you want to help? And do I need to register as a charity?

This is the field right out the back gate of my garden. I came home from university this weekend and I took my dog out for a walk this afternoon. It really was such a beautiful day! I walked up to a field and sat on my favourite bench dedicated to a Mr Peter Howard with a quote on it ‘there is always music amount the trees of the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it’ - while I was on this bench a man and his dog walked past. The dog was very friendly towards me so I got chatting to the man about stuff. I told him I was at university studying medicine and he told me his daughter wanted to do the same. Turns out his daughter went to my old school and he knew my mum quite well. I told him I was a Christian and he asked me some questions about how medicine and faith conflict. I am so glad I got the opportunity to share my faith with a stranger today.
